Indication
- Thick bronchial secretions - Acute and chronic bronchitis - Respiratory tract congestion - Mucus thinning in lung disease
Ingredients
- Acetylcysteine (N
- acetylcysteine)
Direction
Dissolve the contents of the sachet in half a glass of water and drink immediately. Usually taken three times daily for the 200mg dosage or as directed by a physician.
Side effects
- Nausea or vomiting
- Abdominal pain
- Skin rash or hives
- Mouth inflammation (stomatitis)
- Rare bronchospasm in asthma patients
Precautions
- History of peptic ulcers
- Patients with bronchial asthma
- Contains aspartame (phenylketonuria caution)
- Avoid use if hypersensitive to acetylcysteine
