Indication
- Acute infectious diarrhea - Antibiotic-associated diarrhea prevention - Recurrent Clostridium difficile diarrhea - Irritable Bowel Syndrome symptoms
Ingredients
- Saccharomyces boulardii (CNCM I

Direction
Take orally. Mix sachet contents with water or food, or swallow capsules with a drink, typically 1-2 times daily.
Side effects
- Flatulence
- Abdominal bloating
- Constipation
- Rare allergic reactions
Precautions
- Risk of fungemia in immunocompromised
- Avoid in patients with central venous catheters
- Do not mix with very hot/iced drinks
- Avoid concurrent use with oral antifungals
