Ingredients
- Levonorgestrel and Ethinyl Estradiol
Direction
Take one pill orally every day at the same time for 28 consecutive days. Start a new pack immediately after the previous one is finished without interruption.
Side effects
- Nausea
- Breakthrough bleeding or spotting
- Breast tenderness
- Headache
- Weight changes
Precautions
- Increased risk of blood clots
- Avoid if smoking and over 35
- Contraindicated with history of stroke
- Does not protect against HIV/STIs
- Contraindicated in active liver disease
