Indication
Treatment and prevention of folate deficiency, megaloblastic anaemia due to folate deficiency, and supplementation during pregnancy to reduce the risk of neural tube defects.
Ingredients
- Folic Acid
Direction
Adults: take one tablet daily, or as directed by a physician. For oral use.
Side effects
- Generally well tolerated. Rarely
- mild gastrointestinal upset or allergic reactions may occur. Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if irritation
- allergic reaction or any unusual symptoms occur.
Precautions
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have pernicious anaemia
- vitamin B12 deficiency
- or are taking other medications. Stop use and consult a doctor if irritation or allergic reaction occurs.
