Indication
- Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) - Gastric and duodenal ulcers - Erosive esophagitis - Zollinger-Ellison syndrome - Peptic ulcer disease
Ingredients
- Omeprazole
Direction
Take orally 30-60 minutes before a meal, usually in the morning. Swallow the capsule whole with water; do not crush or chew.
Side effects
- Headache
- Abdominal pain
- Diarrhea
- Nausea
- Flatulence
- Constipation
Precautions
- May mask symptoms of gastric cancer
- Long
- term use increases fracture risk
- Risk of Clostridium difficile infection
- Monitor magnesium levels during chronic use
- Avoid use with clopidogrel
