Indication

Treatment of essential hypertension in adults and treatment of heart failure with impaired left ventricular systolic function (ejection fraction ≤ 40%) as add-on therapy to ACE inhibitors or when ACE inhibitors are not tolerated.

Ingredients

• Candesartan Cilexetil

Direction

Adults: 8 mg once daily; may be increased to 16 mg once daily based on blood pressure response. Take with or without food, as directed by a physician.

Side effects

• Dizziness
• headache
• or low blood pressure may occur.
• Hyperkalemia
• elevated creatinine
• or angioedema have been reported uncommonly.
• Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if any irritation
• allergy
• or unusual symptom develops.

Precautions

• Do not use in pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
• Use with caution in patients with renal artery stenosis
• severe renal impairment
• or hepatic impairment.
• Monitor blood pressure and renal function periodically.
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have any underlying medical condition or are taking other medications.
