Indication

Broad spectrum dermatological agent. For allergic inflammatory skin disease (acute and chronic eczema, contact dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, chronic simple lichen, intertrigo, exfoliative dermatitis, papular urticaria, psoriasis, pruritus vulvae, pruritus ani, dermatitis solaris); skin mycosis (athlete's foot, trichophytia, etc.); tinea versicolor; insect bites; alopecia areata; first-degree burns; and skin disease with secondary bacterial infection.

Ingredients
  • Betamethasone dipropionate 0.64 mg per g
  • Clotrimazole 10 mg per g
  • Gentamicin sulfate 1 mg (potency) per g
Direction

Apply a suitable amount of Gentriderm as a thin film to the affected area from one to several times daily. Read the package insert carefully before use.

Side effects
  • Burning
  • itching
  • stinging or dryness at the application site.
  • Folliculitis
  • acne
  • like eruptions
  • hypopigmentation or skin atrophy with prolonged use.
  • Allergic contact dermatitis from gentamicin or clotrimazole in sensitive individuals.
  • Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if rash
  • severe irritation or an allergic reaction occurs.
Precautions
  • For external use only.
  • Do not use on broken skin
  • in or near the eyes
  • or on large body areas unless directed by a doctor.
  • Avoid prolonged or excessive use to reduce risk of skin atrophy
  • telangiectasia and systemic corticosteroid absorption.
  • Do not use if you are hypersensitive to betamethasone
  • clotrimazole
  • gentamicin
  • or any of the ingredients.
  • Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
  • especially during pregnancy
  • breastfeeding
  • or in children
  • and stop use if irritation or allergy occurs.
