Indication

Effective for the relief of fever, pain, headache, toothache, cold, and influenza in children.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol

Direction

Up to one year: 1/2 to 1 measuring spoonful. 1 to 5 years: 1 to 2 measuring spoonfuls. 6 to 12 years: 2 to 4 measuring spoonfuls. 3 to 4 times daily or as recommended by the physician.

Side effects

• Side effects of paracetamol are mild
• though haematological reactions including thrombocytopenia
• leucopenia and allergic reactions occur occasionally. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persist or worsen.

Precautions

• Paracetamol should be given with caution to patients with impaired kidney or liver function.
