Indication
- Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) - Peptic ulcer disease - H. pylori eradication - Zollinger-Ellison syndrome - Prevention of NSAID-induced ulcers
Ingredients
- Esomeprazole
Direction
Take orally once daily, typically 30 to 60 minutes before a meal. Swallow whole; do not crush or chew tablets or capsules.
Side effects
- Headache
- Diarrhea
- Abdominal pain
- Nausea
- Flatulence
- Dry mouth
Precautions
- May mask gastric malignancy symptoms
- Long
- term use risk of fractures
- Hypomagnesemia with prolonged use
- Kidney disease monitoring required
