Indication
Combipack used under specialist supervision for medical termination of intra-uterine pregnancy, prescribed and administered only by a gynaecologist or physician.
Ingredients
- Mifepristone 200 mg
- Misoprostol 200 mcg
Direction
As directed by a gynaecologist or physician. Use this combipack only under expert supervision and where back-up facilities for blood transfusion and surgical intervention are available.
Side effects
- May cause cramping
- bleeding
- nausea
- vomiting
- diarrhoea
- headache
- dizziness or fever.
- Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist promptly if heavy bleeding
- severe pain or any allergic reaction occurs.
Precautions
- Use only under the supervision of a qualified gynaecologist or physician.
- Misoprostol is contraindicated in pregnant women who are going to remain pregnant in the short term.
- Ensure access to facilities for blood transfusion and surgical management before use.
