Indication

Combipack used under specialist supervision for medical termination of intra-uterine pregnancy, prescribed and administered only by a gynaecologist or physician.

Ingredients

• Mifepristone 200 mg
• Misoprostol 200 mcg

Direction

As directed by a gynaecologist or physician. Use this combipack only under expert supervision and where back-up facilities for blood transfusion and surgical intervention are available.

Side effects

• May cause cramping
• bleeding
• nausea
• vomiting
• diarrhoea
• headache
• dizziness or fever.
• Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist promptly if heavy bleeding
• severe pain or any allergic reaction occurs.

Precautions

• Use only under the supervision of a qualified gynaecologist or physician.
• Misoprostol is contraindicated in pregnant women who are going to remain pregnant in the short term.
• Ensure access to facilities for blood transfusion and surgical management before use.
• Consult your doctor before use. Stop the medicine and seek medical attention if any irritation or allergic reaction occurs.
• Keep out of reach of children.
