Indication
Third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic for oral suspension; indicated for the treatment of susceptible bacterial infections including upper and lower respiratory tract, urinary tract, and ear infections.
Ingredients
- Cefixime USP (as Trihydrate) eq. to Cefixime anhydrous 100 mg per sachet (2 g)
Direction
Carefully read the accompanying instructions before use. Empty packet contents into a small cup containing 2 tablespoonful of water. Do not use other liquids or food. Stir well and drink immediately. Refill cup with water and drink.
Side effects
- Diarrhoea
- loose stools
- abdominal pain
- nausea.
- Headache
- dizziness.
- Skin rash
- pruritus.
- Allergic reactions
- stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if a reaction occurs.
Precautions
- Prescription drug
- use only under medical supervision.
- Do not use in patients with known hypersensitivity to cephalosporins or penicillins.
- Use with caution in patients with renal impairment.
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use

- and stop if irritation or allergy occurs.
