Indication
Antifungal agent used for the treatment of candidiasis (oral, oesophageal, vaginal), cryptococcal meningitis, and other systemic fungal infections.
Ingredients
- Fluconazole
Direction
Take as directed by your physician. Usual adult dose: 150 mg single dose for vaginal candidiasis; 50-400 mg once daily for other indications. Swallow capsule whole with water.
Side effects
- May cause nausea
- headache
- abdominal pain
- diarrhoea
- skin rash
- or elevated liver enzymes. Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if any unusual or severe reactions occur.
Precautions
- Use only as prescribed by a doctor or pharmacist. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant
- breastfeeding
- have liver or kidney disease
- or are taking other medications. Stop use and consult a doctor if irritation
- rash or allergy occurs.
