Fluzoral 200 mg

Indication

Antifungal agent used for the treatment of candidiasis (oral, oesophageal, vaginal), cryptococcal meningitis, and other systemic fungal infections.

Ingredients

• Fluconazole

Direction

Take as directed by your physician. Usual adult dose: 150 mg single dose for vaginal candidiasis; 50-400 mg once daily for other indications. Swallow capsule whole with water.

Side effects

• May cause nausea
• headache
• abdominal pain
• diarrhoea
• skin rash
• or elevated liver enzymes. Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if any unusual or severe reactions occur.

Precautions

• Use only as prescribed by a doctor or pharmacist. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant
• breastfeeding
• have liver or kidney disease
• or are taking other medications. Stop use and consult a doctor if irritation
• rash or allergy occurs.
