Indication

- Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) - Stomach and duodenal ulcers - Heartburn and acid regurgitation - Prevention of NSAID-induced ulcers - Zollinger-Ellison syndrome - Eradication of H. pylori infection

Ingredients

• Lansoprazole

Direction

Take orally in the morning, approximately 30-60 minutes before breakfast. Swallow capsules whole with water; do not crush or chew.

Precautions

• Severe liver impairment requires monitoring
• Risk of hip/wrist/spine fractures
• Long
• term use may lower magnesium
• May mask symptoms of malignancy
• Risk of Clostridium difficile diarrhea
