Indication
- Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) - Stomach and duodenal ulcers - Heartburn and acid regurgitation - Prevention of NSAID-induced ulcers - Zollinger-Ellison syndrome - Eradication of H. pylori infection
Ingredients
- Lansoprazole
Direction
Take orally in the morning, approximately 30-60 minutes before breakfast. Swallow capsules whole with water; do not crush or chew.
Side effects
- Headache
- Diarrhea
- Nausea
- Abdominal pain
- Dizziness
- Constipation
Precautions
- Severe liver impairment requires monitoring
- Risk of hip/wrist/spine fractures
- Long
- term use may lower magnesium
- May mask symptoms of malignancy
- Risk of Clostridium difficile diarrhea
