Indication
Macrolide systemic antibacterial indicated for the treatment of susceptible bacterial infections including respiratory tract, skin and soft tissue, and other infections particularly in penicillin-allergic patients.
Ingredients
- Erythromycin 500 mg per film coated tablet

Side effects
- Nausea
- vomiting
- abdominal pain
- diarrhoea.
- Skin rash
- urticaria.
- Hepatic dysfunction with prolonged use.
- Allergic reactions
- stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if a reaction occurs.
Precautions
- List I
- only on medical prescription. Comply with the prescribed doses.
- Do not use in patients with known hypersensitivity to macrolides.
- Use with caution in patients with hepatic impairment or with concurrent QT
- prolonging medications.
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
- especially during pregnancy or breastfeeding
- and stop if irritation or allergy occurs.
