Fenoget 200 mg

Indication

Used as an adjunct to diet to reduce high cholesterol and triglyceride levels in adults with primary hypercholesterolaemia, mixed dyslipidaemia or hypertriglyceridaemia.

Ingredients

• Fenofibrate

Direction

As directed by the physician or see package insert for full prescribing information. Take capsule with the main meal of the day.

Side effects

• May cause digestive disturbances (nausea
• abdominal pain)
• elevated liver enzymes
• headache or rash.
• Stop the medicine and seek immediate care if severe muscle pain
• dark
• coloured urine
• yellowing of the skin or eyes
• or a severe allergic reaction occur.

Precautions

• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
• especially if you have liver
• kidney or gallbladder disease
• or a history of muscle disorders.
• Tell your doctor about all medicines you take
• particularly statins
• oral anticoagulants and cyclosporine.
• Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless directed by your doctor.
• Stop use and seek medical advice if unexplained muscle pain
• tenderness or weakness
• or signs of liver problems occur.
