Indication
Low-dose aspirin used for prophylaxis and treatment of coronary artery disease (angina pectoris, coronary thrombosis) and for symptomatic relief of mild to moderate pain and fever.
Ingredients
- Acetylsalicylic Acid
Direction
Take with a full glass of water. Adult: 4-6 tablets in 4-6 divided doses per day for pain/fever, not exceeding 3 g per day. Children under 12: 50 mg/kg/day in 4-6 divided doses. Prophylaxis of coronary disease: 2-4 tablets per day or as prescribed by the physician.
Side effects
- May cause gastrointestinal upset
- heartburn
- nausea
- or increased bleeding tendency.
- Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if any allergic reaction
- black stools
- vomiting blood
- or other unusual symptoms occur.
Precautions
- Do not give to children under 16 years with viral illness due to risk of Reye's syndrome.
- Use with caution in patients with peptic ulcer
- bleeding disorders
- asthma
- or aspirin hypersensitivity.
- Avoid in the third trimester of pregnancy.
- Inform doctor before surgery or dental procedures.
- Keep out of reach of children.
