Betaloc ZOK 25 mg

Indication

Treatment of hypertension, angina pectoris, symptomatic chronic heart failure with reduced left ventricular ejection fraction (in addition to other heart failure treatments), cardiac arrhythmias including supraventricular tachycardia, and prophylaxis after myocardial infarction.

Ingredients

• Metoprolol Succinate

Direction

Adults: 25–100 mg once daily, swallowed whole with water. Do not crush or chew. Dosage as directed by a physician.

Side effects

• Fatigue
• dizziness
• bradycardia
• cold extremities
• or gastrointestinal upset may occur.
• Bronchospasm
• sleep disturbances
• or depression have been reported.
• Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if irritation
• allergy
• or any unusual symptom develops.

Precautions

• Do not use in patients with severe bradycardia
• second/third
• degree AV block
• severe peripheral arterial circulatory disturbances
• or decompensated heart failure.
• Use with caution in patients with diabetes
• asthma
• COPD
• or peripheral vascular disease.
• Do not discontinue abruptly
• taper dose under medical supervision.
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have any underlying medical condition or are taking other medications.
