Indication
- Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) - Gastric and duodenal ulcers - Zollinger-Ellison syndrome - Acid-related dyspepsia - Heartburn symptoms - Eradication of H. pylori (combination therapy)
Ingredients
- Omeprazole
Direction
Swallow the capsule whole with water. Take orally once daily in the morning, preferably 30 to 60 minutes before a meal.
Side effects
- Headache
- Abdominal pain
- Diarrhea or constipation
- Nausea and vomiting
- Flatulence
Precautions
- Rule out gastric malignancy
- Long
- term use risk of osteoporosis
- Risk of Vitamin B12 deficiency
- May mask symptoms of stomach cancer
- Consult doctor during pregnancy/lactation
