Axcel Clobetasol 0.05%

Indication

For short courses of treatment of more resistant dermatoses such as psoriasis (excluding widespread plaque psoriasis), recalcitrant eczemas, lichen planus, discoid lupus erythematosus, and other conditions which do not respond satisfactorily to less active steroids.

Ingredients

• Clobetasol propionate (micronised)

Direction

Apply sparingly to the affected area once or twice daily until improvement occurs. For external use only.

Side effects

• May cause local skin reactions such as burning
• itching
• irritation
• or thinning of the skin.
• Long
• term or extensive use may lead to systemic corticosteroid effects.
• Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if irritation
• allergy
• or worsening of the skin condition occurs.

Precautions

• Use only under medical supervision
• do not apply to broken skin
• the face
• or sensitive areas for prolonged periods.
• Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes.
• Not recommended for use in children or during pregnancy unless directed by a doctor.
