Indication

Treatment of bacterial infections of the respiratory tract, skin and soft tissue, ear, throat, and uncomplicated genital infections caused by susceptible organisms.

Ingredients

• Azithromycin (as dihydrate) 250 mg

Direction

Side effects

• May cause nausea
• vomiting
• diarrhoea
• abdominal pain
• or headache.
• Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if rash
• jaundice
• severe diarrhoea
• or signs of an allergic reaction occur.

Precautions

• Controlled medicine
• complete the full course as prescribed.
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use in hepatic impairment
• cardiac arrhythmias
• or with other QT
• prolonging drugs.
• Disclose all current medicines to avoid interactions.
• Stop use and seek medical advice if irritation
