Septyl 0.1 g / 100 ml

Indication

Mouthwash for oral hygiene, bad breath, prevention and adjunctive treatment of oral affections (gingivitis), disinfection of removable dentures and reduction of dental plaque accumulation.

Ingredients

• Chlorhexidine digluconate

Direction

Adults and children 6 years of age and older: rinse the mouth with 15 to 30 mL of Septyl for 30 seconds, 2 to 3 times per day after meals. If brushing the teeth, carefully rinse the mouth with water before using Septyl. Children under 6 years: consult a doctor or pharmacist. Do not swallow.

Side effects

• May cause temporary tooth or tongue staining
• altered taste
• or mild oral mucosal irritation. Stop use if swelling
• severe irritation or signs of allergy appear and consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions

• Do not swallow. Keep out of reach of children. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if pregnant
• breastfeeding or with known hypersensitivity to chlorhexidine. Stop use and seek medical advice if irritation or allergic reaction occurs.
