Indication
Antibiotic indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections of the upper and lower respiratory tract, skin and soft tissue, and otitis media caused by susceptible organisms.
Ingredients
- Azithromycin
Direction
Reconstitute as directed. Use as prescribed by a registered physician. Shake bottle well before each use. Once reconstituted, store in a refrigerator and use within 5 days.
Side effects
- May cause nausea
- vomiting
- abdominal pain
- or diarrhoea.
- Rarely may cause allergic reactions
- rash
- or liver enzyme changes.
- If any irritation or allergic reaction occurs
- stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist.
Precautions
- Use only under the supervision of a registered physician.
- Inform the doctor of any allergies to macrolide antibiotics
- liver or kidney problems
- or any other medications being taken.
- Complete the full prescribed course even if symptoms improve.
- If any irritation or allergic reaction occurs
- stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist.
