Indication
Corticosteroid used in the management of endocrine disorders, rheumatic disorders, dermatologic diseases, and allergic states.
Ingredients
- Triamcinolone
Direction
Usual dose: 2-4 tablets (8-16 mg) per day, divided into 3-4 doses after meals, or as directed by a physician.
Side effects
- May cause increased appetite
- weight gain
- fluid retention
- raised blood pressure
- or mood changes.
- Long
- term use may lead to osteoporosis
- muscle weakness
- increased risk of infection
- or adrenal suppression.
- Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if severe irritation
- allergy
- or unusual symptoms occur.
Precautions
- Use only under medical supervision
- long
- term use requires monitoring for corticosteroid side effects.
- Inform your doctor about any infection
- diabetes
- hypertension
- or other chronic illness before use.
- Do not stop suddenly after prolonged use
- the dose should be tapered gradually.
