Indication

Corticosteroid used in the management of endocrine disorders, rheumatic disorders, dermatologic diseases, and allergic states.

Ingredients

Direction

Usual dose: 2-4 tablets (8-16 mg) per day, divided into 3-4 doses after meals, or as directed by a physician.

Side effects

• May cause increased appetite
• weight gain
• fluid retention
• raised blood pressure
• or mood changes.

• term use may lead to osteoporosis
• muscle weakness
• increased risk of infection
• or adrenal suppression.
• Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if severe irritation
