Mitux 200 mg

Indication

Mucolytic agent indicated for the relief of productive cough associated with acute and chronic respiratory disorders that involve thick mucus, such as bronchitis, bronchiectasis, sinusitis, and other respiratory conditions characterized by excessive or thick mucus.

Ingredients

• Acetylcysteine 200 mg (per 1.5 g oral powder sachet)

Direction

Adults and children over 7 years: 1 sachet 2 to 3 times daily, dissolved in a glass of water. Children 2 to 7 years: 1 sachet twice daily. Use as directed by a doctor or pharmacist.

Side effects

• May cause nausea

• diarrhea
• stomatitis
• or rare allergic reactions such as rash
