Indication

Antacid suspension for the relief of symptoms related to gastric hyperacidity including stomach upset, nausea, flatulence and heartburn. Treats gastric and duodenal ulcer, gastritis, heartburn and gastric hyperacidity.

Ingredients

• Aluminium Hydroxide Dried Gel 600 mg
• Magnesium Hydroxide 600 mg
• Simethicone 160 mg

Direction

Adult: 1 sachet (14 ml), 3 times a day, shake before use. Take immediately once symptoms occur and repeat 30 to 60 minutes before or after meals and before bedtime.

Side effects

• Generally may cause constipation
• diarrhoea
• nausea or vomiting.
• Symptoms will disappear after not taking the medicine.
• Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if any allergic reaction occurs.

Precautions

• Do not use for patients with serious kidney failures which may cause hypermagnesia.
• Not recommended for treatment more than 2 weeks unless recommended by physician.
• Antacids are known to disturb the absorption of tetracycline
• cimetidine and similar drugs
• allow 1 to 2 hours gap between antacids and other medication.
• Not recommended for children under 6 years old.
• Not suitable for patients with low phosphorus diet or long
• term use
• since antacids lower phosphorus level in blood.
• Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if any irritation or allergic reaction occurs.
