Efferalgan Vitamine C 500 mg / 200 mg

Indication

Symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain and/or fever such as headache, flu-like symptoms, dental pain, back pain and painful menstrual periods; the added Vitamin C contributes to dietary intake.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 500 mg
• Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) 200 mg

Direction

Adults and children from 27 kg (approximately 8 years): allow 1 effervescent tablet to dissolve completely in a glass of water and drink immediately. Repeat every 4 hours if necessary; do not exceed the maximum daily dose stated in the package leaflet.

Side effects

• Skin rash or allergic skin reactions (uncommon).
• Very rare blood disorders.
• Rare hepatic toxicity at high doses of paracetamol.
• Mild gastrointestinal upset from high doses of Vitamin C.
• Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if severe reactions occur.

Precautions

• Reserved for adults and children weighing at least 27 kg (approximately 8 years).
• Do not exceed the recommended dose
• overdose of paracetamol can damage the liver.
• Do not take any other medicine containing paracetamol concurrently.
• Contains sodium and sorbitol
