Indication
Digestive infections including typhoid fevers and shigellosis, infections caused by Pneumocystis carinii and Toxoplasma gondii, urogenital infections, bronchopulmonary infections, and otitis media.
Ingredients
- Sulfamethoxazole
- Trimethoprime
Direction
Two tablets, twice daily during meals. Use only as directed by a physician.
Side effects
- May include gastrointestinal upset
- skin rash
- or allergic reactions. Stop use and consult a doctor if irritation
- severe rash
- or allergic symptoms appear.
Precautions
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Avoid in case of known allergy to sulfonamides or trimethoprim. Stop immediately and seek medical advice if any allergic reaction or skin irritation occurs.
