Indication

Treatment of androgen-dependent skin conditions in women, such as severe acne and mild hirsutism, where antibacterial or other therapies have failed. Provides contraception during treatment.

Ingredients

• Cyproterone acetate
• Ethinylestradiol

Direction

Take one tablet daily at the same time each day for 21 consecutive days, followed by a 7-day tablet-free interval. Begin the next pack on the 8th day. Use exactly as directed by your physician.

Side effects

• May cause headache
• breast tenderness
• nausea
• mood changes
• breakthrough bleeding
• or weight changes. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if side effects persist
• and seek urgent care for signs of blood clot
• stroke
• or severe allergic reaction.

Precautions

• Do not use if you have a history of blood clots
• severe liver disease
• certain cancers
• or unexplained vaginal bleeding. Avoid smoking while taking this medicine. Stop and seek immediate care for severe headache
• chest pain
• leg swelling
• vision changes
• or signs of allergic reaction.
