Progyluton 2 mg estradiol valerate + 2 mg estradiol valerate / 0.5 mg norgestrel

Indication

Sequential hormone replacement therapy for menopausal symptoms and treatment of cycle disorders in women whose uterus is intact. Not suitable for oral contraceptive purposes.

Ingredients

• Estradiol valerate
• Norgestrel

Direction

Take one tablet daily at the same time each day for 21 days (11 white tablets followed by 10 pale brown tablets), then a 7-day tablet-free interval before starting the next pack. Use exactly as directed by your physician.

Side effects

• May cause headache
• breast tenderness
• nausea
• mood changes
• breakthrough bleeding
• or weight changes. Consult a doctor if side effects persist or worsen
• and seek immediate care for signs of blood clot
• stroke
• or severe allergic reaction.

Precautions

• Do not use for contraception. Do not use if you have a history of blood clots
• severe liver disease
• certain cancers
• or unexplained vaginal bleeding. Inform your doctor of any medical condition or medication. Stop and seek urgent care for severe headache
• chest pain
• leg swelling
• or vision changes.
