Indication
Treatment of essential hypertension; reduction of risk of stroke in hypertensive patients with left ventricular hypertrophy; treatment of nephropathy in type 2 diabetic patients with proteinuria.
Ingredients
- Losartan Potassium
Direction
Adults: 50 mg once daily; may be increased to 100 mg once daily. Use as directed by a physician.
Side effects
- Dizziness
- hypotension
- fatigue
- or hyperkalemia may occur.
- Angioedema or impaired renal function have been reported uncommonly.
- Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if irritation
- allergy
- or any unusual symptom develops.
Precautions
- Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Use as directed by the physician

- Use with caution in patients with renal artery stenosis
- severe renal/hepatic impairment
- or volume depletion.
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have any underlying medical condition or are taking other medications.
