Indication
Appetite stimulant for strength and vitality; used as a multivitamin supplement combined with cyproheptadine to help improve appetite and support general nutrition.
Ingredients
- Cyproheptadine Hydrochloride BP 4 mg
- Vitamin A (as acetate) BP 2500 IU
- Vitamin D3 BP 200 IU
- Vitamin B1 BP 2 mg
- Riboflavin BP 2 mg
- Cyanocobalamin BP 1 mcg
- Nicotinamide BP 25 mg
- Calcium Pantothenate BP 5 mg
- Calcium Lactate BP 100 mg
Direction
As directed by the physician. Typically one tablet two to three times daily after meals.
Side effects
- Common side effects include drowsiness
- dry mouth
- dizziness
- increased appetite
- and weight gain.
- Rare side effects include allergic skin reactions
- nausea
- or constipation.
- If serious side effects or allergic reaction occurs
- stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist.
Precautions
- Use under medical supervision.
- Not recommended for newborns
- premature infants
- nursing mothers
- or patients with narrow
- angle glaucoma
- stenosing peptic ulcer
- or bladder neck obstruction without medical advice.
