Indication
Symptomatic relief of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis (sneezing, runny nose, itchy and watery eyes), and chronic urticaria (itchy rash).
Ingredients
- Cetirizine dihydrochloride
Direction
Adults and children 12 years and over: 1 film-coated tablet (10 mg) once daily, swallowed whole with water. Children 6 to 12 years: 1/2 tablet (5 mg) twice daily. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Follow a doctor or pharmacist's advice.
Side effects
- Drowsiness
- fatigue
- headache.
- Dry mouth
- mild gastrointestinal discomfort.
- Allergic skin reactions (rare).
- Stop and consult a doctor or pharmacist if any unusual or severe reaction occurs.
Precautions
- Use with caution in patients with renal impairment
- dose adjustment may be required.
- May cause drowsiness
- avoid driving or operating machinery if affected.
- Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine.
- Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding without medical advice.
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
