Cortisone Cream 1% Micronised Hydrocortisone 1.0% w/w

Indication

Short-term topical treatment of mild to moderate inflammatory and pruritic skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, insect bites and minor allergic skin reactions.

Ingredients

• Hydrocortisone

Direction

Apply a thin layer over the affected area. Adults: 3 to 4 times a day. Children: 1 or 2 times a day.

Side effects

• Local burning
• stinging
• itching or redness at the application site.
• Dryness
• irritation or contact dermatitis.
• With prolonged or extensive use: skin thinning
• striae
• telangiectasia or other steroid
• related skin changes.

Precautions

• For external use only.
• Avoid contact with the eyes.
• Do not use on the face or in skin folds for prolonged periods
• and do not apply under occlusive dressings without medical advice.
• Limit use in children to short periods and small areas.
• Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding
• or if symptoms persist for more than 7 days.
