Indication
- Depressive disorders - Neuropathic pain - Migraine prophylaxis - Nocturnal enuresis in children
Ingredients
- Amitriptyline Hydrochloride
Direction
Take orally, usually once daily at bedtime to minimize daytime drowsiness. Swallow the tablet whole with water.
Side effects
- Dry mouth
- Constipation
- Blurred vision
- Excessive sedation
- Orthostatic hypotension
- Weight gain
Precautions
- May increase suicidal thoughts
- Avoid during heart attack recovery
- Do not use with MAOIs
- Avoid alcohol consumption
- May cause severe drowsiness
