Indication

Oral rehydration salts used to prevent and treat dehydration caused by diarrhoea, vomiting, or excessive sweating.

Ingredients

• Sodium Chloride BP 2.60 g
• Potassium Chloride BP 1.50 g
• Sodium Citrate BP 2.90 g
• Anhydrous Glucose BP 13.50 g

Direction

Dissolve the contents of one sachet in one litre of clean drinking water and use within 24 hours. Drink slowly as directed by a doctor or pharmacist.

Side effects

• Mild nausea or vomiting may occur if the solution is drunk too quickly.
• Rarely
• electrolyte imbalance may occur if used inappropriately.
• Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if irritation
• allergic reaction
• or unusual symptoms occur.

Precautions

• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
• especially for infants under 6 months
• pregnant women
• or people with kidney disease
• heart failure
• or severe vomiting.
• Use only with clean drinking water
• discard any unused solution after 24 hours.
• If diarrhoea or dehydration symptoms worsen or persist beyond 24 hours
• consult a doctor immediately.
• Keep out of reach of children.
