Indication
Short-term treatment of inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of moderate to severe corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses such as psoriasis, lichen planus, severe eczema and discoid lupus erythematosus.
Ingredients
- Clobetasol Propionate
Direction
Apply a thin layer to the affected area as directed by your doctor or pharmacist, usually once or twice daily. Refer to the enclosed leaflet for precautions, warnings and contraindications.
Side effects
- Local burning
- stinging
- itching or redness at the application site.
- Skin thinning
- telangiectasia
- striae
- perioral dermatitis or pigmentation changes with prolonged or extensive use.
- Allergic contact dermatitis or secondary infection of treated skin.
Precautions
- For external use only. Do not use in or around the eyes.
- Do not apply on the face
- axillae or groin for prolonged periods
- and avoid use under occlusive dressings without medical advice.
- Limit continuous use to short courses (usually up to 2 weeks).
- Controlled medicine
- use only under medical guidance.
- Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy
- breastfeeding or for children.
