Indication
Macrolide antibiotic indicated for the treatment of susceptible bacterial infections in children, including respiratory tract infections, otitis media, and skin and soft-tissue infections.
Ingredients
- Azithromycin
Direction
For paediatric use only. Reconstitute as directed. Dose by body weight: 10 kg = 2.5 ml; 15 kg = 3.5 ml; 20 kg = 5 ml; 30 kg = 7.5 ml. Shake well before use. Use as directed by physician.
Side effects
- May cause nausea
- vomiting
- or diarrhoea.
- Rarely allergic reactions or rash may occur.
- If any irritation or allergic reaction occurs
- stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist.
