Indication
- Respiratory tract infections - Community-acquired pneumonia - Skin and soft tissue infections - Tonsillitis and pharyngitis - Sexually transmitted infections - Acute bacterial sinusitis
Ingredients
- Azithromycin
Direction
Take orally once daily as prescribed. It is usually recommended to take the tablet at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal.
Side effects
- Diarrhea
- Nausea
- Abdominal pain
- Vomiting
- Dizziness
- Headache
Precautions
- History of liver dysfunction
- Heart rhythm disorders (QT prolongation)
- Hypersensitivity to macrolide antibiotics
- Myasthenia gravis exacerbation
- Kidney disease monitoring required
