Indication
Treatment of hypertension and chronic stable or vasospastic angina pectoris.
Ingredients
- Amlodipine besilate
Direction
Adults: one 5 mg capsule once daily; may be increased to 10 mg once daily according to physician's advice.
Side effects
- Headache
- flushing
- dizziness
- palpitations.
- Ankle swelling
- fatigue.
- Stop the medicine and contact a doctor if severe allergic reaction or chest pain occurs.
Precautions
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Use with caution in patients with severe hypotension
- heart failure
- or hepatic impairment.
- Stop and seek medical advice if rash or allergic reaction occurs.
