Indication

Non-sedating long-acting H1 antihistamine used to relieve symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis (seasonal and perennial), including sneezing, nasal discharge and itching, ocular itching, tearing and redness, and itching of the palate and coughing. Also relieves symptoms associated with urticaria, such as itching and hives.

Direction

Adults and adolescents 12 years of age and older: One tablet (5 mg) once daily, taken with or without food, to relieve symptoms. Read the package insert before use.

Side effects

• Common: headache
• dry mouth
• fatigue
• somnolence.
• Rare but serious: hypersensitivity reactions including anaphylaxis
• tachycardia.
