Indication
Add-on therapy for symptomatic treatment of stable angina pectoris in adults inadequately controlled by or intolerant to first-line antianginal therapies.
Ingredients
- Trimetazidine dihydrochloride
Direction
Oral route. One tablet twice daily during meals, or as directed by the physician.
Side effects
- Dizziness
- headache
- abdominal pain
- diarrhea
- dyspepsia
- nausea.
- Asthenia
- parkinsonian symptoms (rare).
- Stop the medicine and contact a doctor if tremors
- gait disturbance
- or severe rash occurs.
Precautions
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Not recommended in patients with Parkinson's disease
- parkinsonian symptoms
- tremors
- restless leg syndrome
- or severe renal impairment.
- Stop and seek medical advice if movement disorders or falls occur.
