Indication
Prevention of atherothrombotic events in patients with history of myocardial infarction, ischemic stroke, or established peripheral arterial disease, and in acute coronary syndrome.
Ingredients
- Clopidogrel bisulfate
Direction
As directed by the physician. Usual adult dose is one tablet daily.
Side effects
- Bleeding
- bruising
- gastrointestinal upset.
- Diarrhea
- abdominal pain.
- Stop the medicine and contact a doctor if severe bleeding
- neurological symptoms
- or jaundice occur.
Precautions
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use during pregnancy
- breastfeeding
- or in patients with bleeding disorders.
- Inform doctor before surgery or dental procedures.
- Stop and seek medical advice if unusual bleeding
- bruising
- or signs of TTP (purpura
- jaundice) occur.
