Indication
Small, light, and portable fingertip pulse oximeter for non-invasive measurement of arterial blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) and pulse rate. For use at home and on the move.
Ingredients
- Optical SpO2 and pulse
- rate sensor (LED + photodetector)
Direction
Insert two 1.5 V AAA alkaline batteries. Open the clip and place a finger inside the device with the nail facing upward, then release the clip. Press the button to turn on. Keep the finger still during measurement; read SpO2 and pulse rate on the LED display. Device switches off automatically when finger is removed.
Side effects
- Pulse oximeters have no direct pharmacological side effects. Prolonged use of the finger clip may cause minor pressure discomfort. Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if discomfort
