Indication
Topical nasal decongestant for the temporary relief of nasal congestion due to common cold, hay fever, sinusitis, and other upper respiratory allergies.
Ingredients
- Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride BP
Direction
Adults and children 6 years and older: 2 to 3 sprays in each nostril twice daily, or as directed by the physician. Please read the enclosed leaflet before use. Shake gently before use. Do not use for more than 3 to 5 consecutive days.
Side effects
- Transient burning
- stinging
- dryness of the nasal mucosa
- or sneezing may occur.
- Rebound congestion may occur with prolonged use.
- Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persist or any unexpected reaction occurs.
Precautions
- Do not use for more than 3 to 5 consecutive days
- as prolonged use may cause rebound nasal congestion.
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have heart disease
- high blood pressure
- thyroid disease
- diabetes
- prostate enlargement
- or are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Not recommended for children under 6 years.
- Stop use if irritation or allergy occurs and consult a doctor or pharmacist.
