Indication
Prophylaxis and treatment of allergic rhinitis, including seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever) and perennial allergic rhinitis, and for the management of nasal symptoms in chronic rhinitis.
Ingredients
- Fluticasone Propionate
Direction
Adults and children 12 years and older: 2 sprays into each nostril once daily, preferably in the morning, or as directed by the physician. Children 4 to 11 years: 1 spray into each nostril once daily, only under medical supervision. Shake gently before use. Only use in your nose.
Side effects
- Common: unpleasant taste and smell
- nasal dryness
- nasal irritation
- epistaxis (nosebleed)
- headache.
- Rarely: hypersensitivity reactions including rash
- urticaria
- bronchospasm
- or angioedema.
- Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if any unexpected reaction occurs.
Precautions
- For nasal use only. Read the information leaflet carefully before use.
- Do not use if you are allergic to fluticasone propionate or any of the excipients.
- Consult a doctor before use if you have any nasal infection
- recent nasal surgery
- or are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Long
- term use of intranasal corticosteroids may require medical monitoring
- particularly in children.
- Stop use if irritation or allergic reaction occurs and consult a doctor or pharmacist.
