Indication
- Bacterial respiratory infections - Sinusitis and pharyngitis - Community-acquired pneumonia - Skin and soft tissue infections - Sexually transmitted infections (Chlamydia) - Acute otitis media
Ingredients
- Azithromycin
Direction
Take orally once daily. Swallow whole with water, preferably one hour before or two hours after a meal.
Side effects
- Diarrhea
- Nausea
- Abdominal pain
- Vomiting
- Temporary hearing loss (high doses)
Precautions
- History of macrolide allergy
- Severe liver dysfunction
- QT interval prolongation
- Myasthenia gravis history
- Monitor kidney function
