Hovid Allopurinol 100 mg per tablet

Indication

Treatment of hyperuricaemia and gout, including prophylaxis of gout attacks and management of uric acid and calcium oxalate kidney stones. Also used to prevent hyperuricaemia associated with chemotherapy.

Side effects

• or rarely severe hypersensitivity reactions (Stevens

• Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if any allergic reaction

• or other unusual symptoms occur.

Precautions

• Controlled medicine
• to be taken only as prescribed by a doctor.
• Inform doctor of any history of kidney or liver disease
• or hypersensitivity to allopurinol.
• Drink plenty of fluids while on treatment.
• Discontinue immediately if any skin rash or hypersensitivity reaction develops.
• Keep out of reach of children.
