Indication

- Prevention of pregnancy after unprotected intercourse - Contraceptive failure or suspected failure - Emergency contraception after sexual assault

Ingredients

• Levonorgestrel

Direction

Take one 1.5 mg tablet orally as soon as possible, preferably within 12 hours and no later than 72 hours after unprotected intercourse. If vomiting occurs within 2 to 3 hours of administration, a second dose should be taken immediately.

Side effects

• Nausea and vomiting
• Fatigue and dizziness
• Headache
• Breast tenderness
• Lower abdominal pain
• Changes in menstrual bleeding

Precautions

• Not for regular contraceptive use
• Does not protect against STIs/HIV
• Not effective if already pregnant
• Does not induce abortion
• Consult doctor if period is late
