Indication
- Prevention of Vitamin C deficiency - Treatment of scurvy - Support for immune system function - Aid in wound healing - Management of physical fatigue
Ingredients
- Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C)
Direction
Take orally by swallowing or dissolving in water as indicated. Usually 500mg to 1000mg daily or as prescribed by a physician.
Side effects
- Diarrhea
- Nausea or vomiting
- Stomach cramps
- Frequent urination
- Heartburn
Precautions
- History of kidney stones (oxalate)
- Patients with iron overload disorders
- Glucose
- 6
- phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency
- High doses can interfere with lab tests
